Welcome to Fourth Grade at Atlas Elementary!  

I am looking forward to an enjoyable and productive year with your fourth grader. I love teaching and I am excited about this year.  I feel very fortunate to be able to work with your child.  I have been teaching  for many years and have been lucky enough that all those years have been in the Coeur d'Alene School District! I graduated from the University of Idaho twice.  Go Vandals! I love learning, too! 

My husband, Mike, and I love our growing family: 5 kids, 2 son-in-laws, 1 daughter-in-law and 7 grandkids.  Besides spending time with my family, I enjoy refinishing old wood furniture and making it beautiful and useful again. I enjoy baking. I love to read. In the summer I like to camp and spend time skiing on the lake and in the winter I like to ski the slopes. I love North Idaho and the beauty and recreation that this area offers.       

I know the excitement that learning can bring and I have plenty of fun learning activities planned.   I love teaching children and feel a great amount of responsibility for each child that I come in contact with. Atlas is a fabulous learning community and YOU are part of it!
