  • I am so happy to be a part of the Woodland Middle School family!  This will be my 22nd year in the Coeur d'Alene School District, and I couldn't be more excited to be working in such an amazing place with this phenomenal staff.  I began my journey as a 2nd grade/K-5 Title 1 teacher at Fernan Elementary, continued my career as a 7th-grade life science teacher at Canfield Middle School, and transitioned 10 years ago to Administration.

I was born and raised in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and moved to the Northwest in 1993.  My daughters are products of this incredible school system!  My oldest daughter Sydney graduated from the University of San Diego where she played 4 years of basketball in the WCC.  Her major was Behavioral Neuroscience, and she is pursuing a post-bachelors nursing degree in Denver.  My youngest daughter Aliyah just graduated from Carroll College, majoring in Education and playing volleyball.  She got her first teaching job as a 4th-grade teacher in the Helena area.  When I am not at work, you will find me golfing, biking, boating, skiing, or hiking.  I love to be outdoors, and we live in the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful landscape!

Feel free to stop by the office and introduce yourself to me as I would love to get to know the families of our students.  I am looking forward to the school year and watching our students reach their goals.  Let's have a fabulous year!
