The eligibility perimeters for becoming a DUAL student have been set by Coeur d'Alene High School in conjunction with the colleges and universities offering the credits.  These requirements have been proven to help ensure students enrolling in DUAL credit classes are academically and emotionally ready for the requirements of college level courses.  However, there are times when exceptions are made and counselors’ approval is given to students not meeting the above criteria.  Below are approved exceptions:

    • Courses offered on the CHS campus may allow students under the age of 16.

    • Students in grades 9 & 10 may be eligible for DUAL Credit courses offered on the CHS campus, provided the course is open to their grade level.

    • CTE (Career and Technical Courses) offered on the CHS campus require a 2.0 GPA
