ABOUT THE TEACHER
JoAnn Frame is proud to live in the Pacific Northwest for many reasons: the trees, the lakes, the mountains, four seasons, and the community of people that make up Northern Idaho. She and her husband have a blended family of six children, three grandchildren and the newest member is scheduled to arrive in late April. They love camping, hiking, fishing, target practice, snowboarding, campfires, and she especially, loves making her house a home.
ABOUT THE CLASS
Being in the classroom is a joy of JoAnn's; modeling kindness, thoughtfulness, empathy and compassion that builds relationship and community. Teaching to the whole person means intentionally seeking out opportunities to connect with individuals: actively listening and practicing flexible thinking to see the need beyond the behavior. She believes everyone has a need to belong, and to feel safe and secure to develop true autonomy. Growth may be a slow process, but it is beautiful.
