• Advanced Opportunities Funding

The Advanced Opportunities program provides students with the ability to individualize their high school educational plan to get a head start on their future.  Students may use the Advanced Opportunities Funding towards eligible courses including dual credit, Advanced Placement Exams (AP), overload courses and technical competency credit.

All students in grades 7-12 have access to state funding through their Advanced Opportunities Portal Account.  Students wishing to access their Advanced Opportunities funding should complete the following steps:

    1. Complete the “Fast Forward Participation Form” - This form only needs to be signed one time and turned into the College and Career Center or the Counseling Office.

    2. Create an Advanced Opportunities Portal Account - Students will use the Portal to track their available balance and funding status.

The staff members of the College and Career Center will submit all eligible courses and exams each funding cycle based on enrollments lists from each of our providers.  If you have any questions please contact us at (208) 667-4507 ext 40023 or khynes@cdaschools.org
