Summer PLUS: A Quality School-Based Child Care Program where children enjoy fun and exciting learning activities!

Who Are We?
The Summer PLUS Child Care Program is open to all Coeur d’ Alene School District 271 students entering kindergarten through sixth grade in the fall of 2023. We do not provide educational services. Summer is a fun time for School PLUS children. They enjoy a wide variety of activities and events planned especially for their age group.These activities include arts and crafts, sports, games, special events, field trips, and swimming.

Registration:
Submit your application at cdaschools.org. Once the form is processed, you will receive an email with a statement for June fees. In the event that spots are full, you will be placed on a waiting list and contacted if anything opens up. Please allow 2 days for processing.

Fees:
Flat rate, per child, per month (No varying schedules)
● June $382
● July $529
● August $412

There will be a 10% discount for siblings.
Registration Fee*: $40.00 per child or $60.00 per family
*If not paid during the 22-23 School Year

Payments:
Monthly statements will be distributed on the 1st of the month via email and the Procare app. Fees are paid in advance of service and are due the 10th of every month. We allow a grace period of five days before the account is considered past due and childcare can become jeopardized. A $10.00 late fee may be applied if payment is not received by the due date on your statement. Payments will not be accepted at sites.

Methods of payment:
● Procare app with Credit Card or ACH
● Bill Pay from personal bank account
● Checks deposited in the dropbox at the address below

Policies and Procedures:
Most of our policies and procedures for our school year program apply to our summer program. If
you would like a copy please ask for one.

Withdrawal:
Please notify site in writing and in advance if withdrawing from program before summer program
ends.The bill will continue to accrue until the notice is received in the School PLUS office. Notice
can be emailed to schoolplus@cdaschools.org.

Important Dates Of Summer PLUS:
● Summer PLUS is open June 14th through August 18th, 2023
● Closed July 3rd, 4th and 31st
● 22 -23 school year starts Sept. 5th, 2023

Please Note:
● Children must be signed in and signed out every day.
● A photo ID is required when your child is picked-up.
● Site entrances vary from school to school. Please call the site if you have questions where
   these entrances are located.
● Please call the Summer PLUS site if your child will be absent on a scheduled day.
● Statements will be distributed on the 1st of the month.
● Payments are due by the 10th of the month

Summer PLUS is a quality child care program and is NOT an extension of the Coeur d'Alene
School District 271's academic program. We are funded and operated by parent fees.
