Indian Education Parent Committee

The Indian Education Parent Committee (IEPC) was organized in July, 2013 to help address the needs of Indian students and their families; to ensure an adequate education is provided in a manner that recognizes the unique cultural differences of Native Americans. The IEPC is made up of  parents, guardians, teachers, mentors, and community advisors. Our purpose is to provide educational support for Native American students and families while developing strategies to increase cultural awareness and enrichment in our schools.

Are you a parent of a American Indian/Alaska Native student in the Coeur d'Alene School District?
Please consider serving as a member of the parent committee! As a member you will be a voice for Native students and work with Indian Education to develop programs to better serve the needs of Indian students in our schools. We can't do it without your involvement.
Contact the Indian Education Coordinator at 208-664-8241 x10060 for information about how you can be involved.
