    My name is Debbi Hahn and I am the Instrumental Music director of Woodland Middle School Orchestra.

    I graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education in 1995, Certified Standard Elementary Music K-12. I have been teaching ever since beginning my career in the Lakeland School District, then the Lewiston Independent School District and now for the Coeur d’Alene School District, where I have been teaching since August  of 2000.

    Besides teaching music, I am also a performer in different ensembles for celebrations and weddings.  I am currently playing fiddle in a local rock band.  I have been a member of the Coeur d'Alene Symphony Orchestra where I played 2nd violin and viola.  I have been a volunteer on the Entertainment Committee for Art On the Green. I also had a private studio where I taught piano, violin, viola and cello for many years.

    I am married, have 2 sons ages 21 and 24 and 1 dog.

    In my spare time I like to be outside, walking, running, hiking, biking, paddle boarding, gardening, hummingbirds, weather watching, gazing at the sky.

    Being a good musician requires commitment, hard work, practice, good technique and inspiration.  With time and dedication, you can become a good musician!
