Stage Tech Performance Team has the responsibility to create, inspire and enhance Sorensen performances within the community. Stage Tech students will learn about the work involved in creating a theatrical production.
Stage Tech Performance Team has the following responsibilities:
- Set stage rigging and curtains/drapes and sound system, according to the production plan.
- Help set up and hang props and sets.
- Program light plots.
- Operate light board, follow spots and sound system during shows or productions.
- Operate and install sound equipment and systems.
Stage Tech Performance team creates an environment to ensure each production is successful. It is mandatory that each stage technician participates in the production they are assigned. Stage Techs will meet every Friday morning from 7:45-8:15 starting Nov. 1.
