Information Regarding Upcoming Field Trips
Trip to KTEC
This year, all 8th graders will have a chance to visit the Kootenai Technical Education Campus (KTEC).
On this trip, your student will have the opportunity to tour the KTEC campus, see classes in session, and engage in conversation with teachers and current students. This fun afternoon will give all 8th graders the opportunity to see what KTEC has to offer and consider it as part of their high school plan.
What is KTEC?
- KTEC is a unique partnership between local school districts, local business & industry leaders, and local manufacturers. Through this partnership, 11th and 12th grade students can attend KTEC tuition-free and obtain college credits, industry certifications, and a route to success through applied skills training.
- KTEC training prepares students to enter the workforce directly after high school or continue their training at the post-secondary level.
- This trip will allow students to explore the potential of including KTEC as part of their high school plan.
