Greetings, Vikings! I am so honored to serve the community as an assistant principal at Coeur d'Alene High School. I hold a B.S. in Physics from Minnesota State University Moorhead, where I had the privilege of competing at the Division II level as a swimming student-athlete, a Masters in Teaching from Minnesota State University Mankato, a Specialist and Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
I have served in a variety of leadership roles in my home state of Minnesota, where I was a science teacher and head coach, prior to my arrival in Coeur d'Alene. I also have published research focused on supporting freshman students in their transition to high school and have worked as an ambassador and trainer with the American Physical Society and their STEP UP program.
I am excited to now call Coeur d'Alene home and take advantage of the amazing hiking and skiing opportunities. I love visiting National Parks and am looking forward to crossing several more off my list this year. I speak French and enjoy taking weekly language classes, and during the winter can be found cheering on the Minnesota Wild hockey team.
I am dedicated to meeting the needs of all students and look forward to partnering with the staff, families, and Coeur d'Alene community to provide an excellent education for our students.
