I'm happy to start my 5^th year at Dalton Elementary! My family moved here in 2014 and we immediately fell in love with the Inland Northwest. My teaching adventures have taken me from Massachusetts, to California, Arizona, Texas, Kansas and now, Idaho.  This is my 15th year of teaching elementary students. I lead a team of paraprofessional reading instructors who are highly qualified and top notch! We love your kiddos, and treasure the time we spend with them.   

Reading is a fundamental part of our life, and a source of joy!  I love working with young readers to help them explore new worlds and ideas through rich texts. When young readers struggle to read and comprehend, early intervention is vital. It is a privilege to work alongside these readers, using skills and strategies that help them “unlock the code” so that the thrill of reading is awakened inside them.
