Welcome to 8th Grade Earth Science! This is my second year at Canfield and I absolutely love it.

A little about myself: I have been coaching football at CHS for the past three years. I am an avid outdoorsman and love to explore our beautiful region. My wife Emily is also a teacher in the CDA School District. We have a one-year-old daughter, Avery, that your kiddos will likely see many pictures of. My family and I love to travel any chance we get and enjoy seeing new places and meeting new people.

Science is an amazing subject and I hope your student walks away feeling the same way. We will focus on the metric system, scientific method, basic chemistry, rocks & minerals, Geologic History, layers of the Earth, Plate tectonnics, astronomy, and much more.
