Advisory committees, made up largely of community volunteers, help the Board of Trustees tackle important issues. While the ultimate authority to make decisions resides with the School Board, these committees conduct studies, identify problems, and develop recommendations.

The board can appoint committees to address specific short-term concerns or provide counsel on ongoing issues affecting the district. The advisory committees are an important part of the ongoing dialogue between the school district, board and community.

Current School Board Advisory Committees include the Long Range Planning Committee. As openings on these and other committees become available, the information will be posted here.
