Hi Ramsey family and friends! My name is Jodey Holzinger and I am the Speech-Language Pathologist at Ramsey Magnet School of Science.
I moved to the Coeur d'Alene area about 6 years ago from Spokane, WA. Previously, I worked as a sign language interpreter for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in a neighboring school district. After nine years working in the schools, I decided that I wanted to further my education. I earned my Master’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Washington State University in 2017 and have been working for the CDA School District ever since. This is my fourth year serving children kindergarten through fifth grade at Ramsey.
When I am not helping kids with their communication needs at school, I enjoy going to country music concerts, being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. My husband and I have three children, two of which attend schools in the CDA district. They keep us busy with after school activities and social events. We all really enjoy living in this wonderful community!
I have really enjoyed getting to know the students here at Ramsey. I am excited to be here and look forward to a great school year!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have regarding your child's speech and language.
