Welcome to 4th Grade:
Hello! My name is Heather Hidalgo. I am so excited to be here at NExA this year as a 4th grade teacher!
This is my 20th year teaching. I graduated from California State University San Marcos, where I received my credential and a B.A. in Liberal Studies with a minor in Sociology. After teaching in California for 18 years, my family relocated to Coeur d’Alene. Last year, I taught in Post Falls but am excited to be teaching in my hometown this year.
My husband, Alex, and I have two daughters. Charli is off to middle school this year, and Lucy will be in 3rd grade here at NExA. They keep us very busy. My family and I spent the summer months camping, swimming at the lake, and visiting with friends and family.
I am looking forward to getting to know each of you! Please feel free to approach me with any questions or concerns. I hope that you and your child will feel right at home with me! This year will be a lot of fun!
Hi! My name is Angela Duke and I’m excited to be a 4th grade teacher this year at NEXA. I’ve been teaching for 13 years. I taught 6th grade language arts and science for 7 years and last year I was in 5th grade. I have a real passion for STEM and can’t wait to do some awesome projects and experiments with my class this year!
My family moved into the area summer of 2018 and have loved every minute of it! I have 3 children, my eldest will begin 1stgrade this year and we have 4 year old twins. My husband and I have been married for 10 years and just bought a home in Rathdrum. We couldn’t be happier to live in such a beautiful place!
