Hello! My name is Susanne Reimann and I am the Special Education teacher here at Ramsey Magnet School of Science. I began my teaching career in 2007, after graduating from the University of Idaho with a degree in Elementary Education. After teaching second grade, preschool, and substitute teaching in grades K through high school, I decided to go forward with a desire to work with children with special needs and went back to school to pursue my Master’s degree and certification in Special Education. At that time, I started working as a paraprofessional in the Resource Room here at Ramsey, and am so excited to now be part of the Ramsey team as a Resource Room teacher!
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I moved to Coeur d’Alene twenty-five years ago and I love living in such a beautiful place and being part of this wonderful community! I raised two children here as well, my son Jake and my daughter, Sydney.
I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my animals! In the summer, I love to be outside, at the beach, taking a walk, or just relaxing in my backyard. I’m not a skier, but I also love winter and a big snowfall! The seasons in North Idaho are just beautiful!
I am really looking forward to working with our wonderful, unique learners and families this year! We are all team members in your child’s education, so please feel contact me here at Ramsey.
