  • Kindergarten AM: 

    • Mon: 10am–11:45am
    • Tues–Fri: 8:30am–11:45pm

    Full Day Kindergarten and Grades 1-6: 

    • Mon: 10am–3:30pm
    • Tues–Thurs: 8:30am–3:30pm
    • Fri: 8:30am–2pm

    **FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES**  Thanks to Tools 2 School and other local businesses and non-profit donations, backpacks, and school supplies will again be available this year for those in need. To request supplies, contact the Sorensen front office or counselor sometime between August 27 and the first day of school, September 4. Questions?     Free & Reduced Meals for 2018-19

    Your children may be eligible for free or reduced-price lunches and breakfasts. Families that have previously qualified will need to reapply each year. Download the application or get more information on the School Nutrition Services department webpage.

    School PLUS Childcare Program

    School PLUS is a reliable, quality, licensed childcare program offered in our school and schools across our district. Registration for the 2018-19 school year will begin August 1.  Visit the School PLUS page for more details and registration information.

Seeking Artists!

  • Now seeking artists-in-residence

    It's that time again! Sorensen Magnet School is looking for artists for our Artist-in-Residence program.

    You can help students CREATE through visual arts, literature, performing arts, dance, theater, vocal and instrumental music, and more! Applications for the 2018-19 school year will be accepted through 10/1.

    Share this information with your favorite painter, creator, actor, vocalist, virtuoso, craftsperson, artisan or composer!
