Attention Lake City! Homecoming is this week, so here is everything you need to know:
Theme for the Week: To The Moon and Back
Monday 9/17--Black Out Day (Everyone wear black)
Tuesday 9/18--Astronomy Day (Class Spirit/Color Day)
*Seniors: Sun (Yellow)
*Juniors: Earth (Blue and Green)
*Sophomores: Mars (Red)
*Freshmen: Moon (Grey)
Wednesday 9/19--Space Jam Day (Wear your favorite team’s jersey)
Thursday 9/20--Monsters vs. Aliens Day (Choose to dress as a monster or an alien)
Friday 9/21--Spirit Day (Wear your navy, silver, and teal!)
Spirit days are also class competitions--the classes with the most participation will be announced every day, with the overall winner getting treats on Monday. Classes also get five bonus points if your teacher dresses up too!
Parade: The parade will be downtown on Sherman Ave. on Friday, September 21st at 4:00pm. Come out and see all of the groups that represent our amazing school!
Dance: The dance will be on Saturday, September 22nd from 7-10pm. Dress is semi-formal and cost is $10 at the door. Bottles of water will be for sale during the dance, no bags will be allowed into the dance, every student will be breathalyzed at the door, and only Coeur d'Alene School District students will be allowed to attend--everyone must show school ID to get in.
All student vehicles must have an LCHS parking permit displayed. Permits may be picked up in the Attendance Office. There is no charge for permits. Vehicles parked on school property may be inspected by school officials
Students are required to park in marked stalls only. Students are not permitted to park in the Staff parking lot. Student parking in areas other than those designated for students are subject to a $20 fine, loss of parking privileges, or any combination of these actions. Students with excessive parking violations may have a boot placed on their car and /or parking privileges revoked or suspended.
Driving and parking privileges on campus may also be revoked if student-driving practices violate speed limit regulations or endangers persons.
No Loitering in the parking lot.
**FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES** Thanks to donations from local businesses and our Home on the Homefront team, backpacks, and school supplies are available this year for those in need. To request supplies, contact the LCHS front office sometime between August 27 and the first day of school, September 4. Questions? Your children may be eligible for free or reduced-price lunches and breakfasts. Families that have previously qualified will need to reapply each year. Download the application or get more information on the School Nutrition Services department webpage.

Open to the public Monday-Thursday from 3 pm to 6:30 pm. Get your CDA Public Library books delivered to LCHS! Step 1: Log into your CDA Public Library account.
Step 2: After selecting your book, choose to place a hold on the item.
Step 3: Choose Lake City Public Library for your pick up location.
Step 4: You will receive an email when your item is available for pick up at LCHS. Students can pick up and drop off CDA Public Library books for their parents.
