    Mrs. Selby

I feel honored to be a part of the Woodland Middle School 7th grade team teaching 7th Grade Life Science.  Over the years, I've taught Life Science, math, yearbook, computers, gifted programs, study labs and television production.  This nice selection of subjects that I've taught allow for me to really think outside the box when it comes to interesting ways of presenting new information.  I can't wait to apply it all to Life Science!

I moved to Idaho in 2013 and have been teaching here at Woodland ever since.  I earned my Bachelor in Science in Biology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and my Master's degree in Secondary Education from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.  I have a broad variety of interests that allow me to incorporate all sorts of unexpected topics into my instruction.  I am looking forward to sharing them with you.

If you are wanting to stay up to date on what is happening in my classroom, students can check Google Classroom, which I update daily. Parents, you can request to be invited to your child's Google Classroom and you can receive weekly emails that keep you up to speed.  Please contact me with any questions you might have!
