the second grade teachers
We are a community of learners. We all strive to uphold each other's
right to learn, to be heard, to be safe, and to be treated with
kindness.
Reading is our main focus this year. We have guided reading groups and
silent reading daily. Our math program consists of Mountain Math
concept board, Scott Foresman math program and fact memorization. We
will be writing on a regular basis and working hard to spell all
of our word wall words correctly.
Some things we hope to study this year are National symbols, mapping skills,
continents, animals groups and habitats, matter, and weather.
We do quality work and have fun in second grade!
