Mrs. Landwehr

Mrs. Landwehr teaches kindergarten through 5th grade art at  Winton on Monday and Tuesday. Students will learn a variety of skills and techniques while they study famous artists and cultures around the world. Mrs. Landwehr especially enjoys teaching her students to draw what they see so they can better understand and appreciate the world around them. Recently Mrs. Landwehr taught not only children, but also their parents how to make a Seuss-like sculpture at our "Dinner and a Book" night. She works with classroom teachers to tie art into curriculum goals to give students another way to understand  and display their content learning. Parents are always welcome to drop in and lend a hand in the art room!

SHOE ART

Books and shoes go together well in this great art and reading project. Just look at our Shoe Art! We chose a book and decorated a shoe to represent it!
