Welcome to the Idaho Reads! VISTA page. My name is Becky Burke and I am the Idaho Reads! Volunteer coordinator this year at Winton. Idaho Reads! VISTA is a part of Americorp*VISTA, and was established to emphasize family literacy in our schools. Idaho Reads! focuses mainly on K-3 students and their families, in an effort to spark a love of reading together.

    This year I will be recruiting volunteers to help with our HEART reading program, and to put on several literacy events during the year. Some of these events include Family Reading Week in November, assisting with the Book Fair in December, and Dinner and a Book in March. I am very excited to be here and hope that I can count on continued support from our Winton families.
