The District's Transportation Department is headed by Jill Hill who was a professional driver and district trainer for 15 years before being promoted to Transportation Director.

The Department of 63 includes a trainer, two mechanics, 50 drivers and aides, an office secretary and 8 substitute drivers. There are 37 regular education routes and seven special needs teams. The department averages approximately 4,300 miles daily not including the summer programs. The total miles per year is nearly 800,000.
