Sorensen Magnet School of the Arts and Humanities

Thank you for a wonderful
school year! We look forward to seeing you on September 2nd at 8:15am.
Welcome to Sorensen!
Sorensen Magnet School
of the Arts and Humanities is committed to providing an academically excellent
education for every child with an emphasis on integrating the visual and
performing arts, along with humanities, into our standards-based curriculum.

Welcome Jim Gray,
Sorensen's new principal!
Jim is a life-time Coeur d' Alene resident, who has been a music teacher,
elementary, middle and high school administrator, and is a guitarist and singer
in Coeur d'Alene's own "Rhythm Dawgs." We are excited that Jim will be
joining us for the 2008-2009 school year!

The
bouldering wall
is up!! Thanks to Mr. Davis and the staff and parents who
worked hard to raise funds all year, and assemble the wall over
spring break. Another example of how a few dedicated and hard
working people can make mighty things happen!

Thank you for recycling your aluminum, newspapers,
magazines and cardboard at Sorensen. This Earth-friendly
habit generates money to buy juggling equipment.
