My name is Mrs. Stordahl. This year we have some exciting new programs in our library! We will be having a "Popcorn" drawing every other Friday. Children can enter this drawing each time they read (or have read to them) an AR book on their reading level and/or for every 5 chapters in a chapter book. Also, we have two book fairs scheduled this year and much more!! Please find my library section in the Panther Paws for weekly updates and/or feel free to stop in or drop me an email!!

Our Checkout policy: I ask that the students select one book on their AR (reading) level, their second book is their free choice and for the primary grades, their third book be a chapter book. Checkout time is for one week. Open library is Monday-Wednesday for students to renew or replace their books if need be, prior to their scheduled library time. Books lost or damaged will need to be paid for or a replaced with a book of equal value or library privileges maybe revoked.	Kindergarten - classroom only
	1st grade - 2 books
	2nd grade - 2 books
	3rd grade - 3 books
	4th and 5th grade - 3 book

Accelerated Reader Book List

After reading your book, you may go to the school library to take your AR quiz based on the book you read. The more quizzes you take based on your range, raises your range!! *The public library has a copy of Sorensen's AR list as well.
