Coffee House Jams have been a long standing tradition at Sorensen. We value student writing and speaking as unique forms of communication and personal expression. Held at our downtown coffee shop, JAVA on Sherman, students submit writing pieces to Mr. Helbling for support and approval. They participate in practice sessions prior to the monthly event. It is a wonderful opportunity to grab a latte, hang out as a family, and listen to students perform and share their writings while standing on the infamous milk crate. We hope to see at the next Coffee House Jam!
