PARTNERSHIP POLICY
Statement of Purpose
Skyway Elementary School is
committed to the goal of providing quality education for students.
Partnerships among parents, teachers, students, and the community will
assist our school in meeting this goal. Everyone gains when the home,
school, and community work together to promote high student achievement.
This partnership is critical to the effectiveness of the school and
contributes to student achievement and success.
Skyway Elementary School Will
Build Strong Support For Strong Partnerships:
By informing parents of their child's
participation in the Title I program in writing or by phone
By providing an informational
meeting for the Title I parents as needed
By keeping parents informed of their
child's academic progress, through conferences, phone calls or written
reports
By ensuring parents will have
reasonable access to the staff and the school
By providing opportunities for
parents to volunteer in the Title I program
By providing parents with specific
support strategies and materials to help their child with reading,
spelling, and writing at home
By inviting parents to participate in
the planning, review, and improvement of the Title I program
By providing
opportunities for parents to observe their child at school in their
Title I program
