Skyway Elementary is a kindergarten-fifth grade facility located in northwest Coeur d' Alene.  The current enrollment is 625. Skyway houses 23 classrooms, a music room, technology center, library, cafeteria, full-sized gymnasium, and four classrooms in two portables. Students have access to enhanced technology with fiber optic connections to every classroom .

Skyway's exemplary staff goes above and beyond to meet the individual needs of students. Excellence is our standard. We are very proud of our retired first grade teacher, Patti Perry, who was Idaho's Teacher of the Year for 2003. Skyway is proud of its quality staff of 37 certified and 28 classified personnel. 

An active parent group, called the Eagle's N.E.S.T. (Nurturing Excellence in Students and Teachers), supports our children and teachers.

Skyway's school wide character education program, Spirit of Skyway, is our foundation for academic and social excellence. We have been recognized nationally for embedding character education into all aspects of our school community.
