Information
The most nutritious food . . . is the food that is "EATEN" ! Elementary schools: students may choose from the daily special, cheese whole grain roll fruit & veggie, and beverages every day. Middle schools: students may choose from the daily special, deli-sub sandwiches, salads, fresh baked pizza, chicken sandwich, cheese whole grain roll fruit & veggie, and beverages every day. High schools: offer a menu that include the daily special, deli-sub sandwiches, salads, soup & sandwich, fresh baked pizza, Fast food daily special, chicken sandwich, cheese whole grain roll fruit & veggie and beverages every . IMPORTANT: High school students who want to access their lunch accounts must show either their meal card (ASB card). Breakfast consists of an entree, fruit or juice and milk.
Lunch consists of an entree, fruit, vegetable, milk and sometimes a dessert.
Families who meet federal income eligibility standards may apply for breakfast and lunch at a reduced price or at no cost. Applications are available in each school office or Nutrition Services Office. Parents are invited to join their children for Breakfast or Lunch. Come and enjoy a meal with your children. Purchasing Meals: · Meals may be prepaid in advance by placing money in your child's meal account. · Purchase at any time from your school's office, preferably before school in the morning.

All schools
use computers to track meal accounts. If you have any questions or
concerns, · Parents may choose to place restrictions on how their child's meal account is spent: contact your school. · Checks: Please make them out to your child's school, with the child's full name on the memo line. · NSF Checks ~ If checks are returned twice due to non-sufficient funds, further meals will be on a cash basis. · Cash: We encourage the exact amount as this will help the line move more quickly. · Charges: There are NO charges at the high school. After more than two unpaid charge, a middle or elementary child may receive a fruit & milk if no funds exist. After each charge, a reminder will be sent home to parents. · Still Hungry: All students may purchase a second meal by paying the full meal price. · Ala Carte: Entrees and many other items can be purchased individually. · Adult Prices: Adults pay more for their meals because the district does not receive any federal reimbursement or commodity support for the meals they purchase.
