MINUTES

At 4:07 PM, Chair Vern Newby called the meeting to order. Trustees Edie Brooks and Diane Zipperer were also in attendance.

Motion by Mrs. Brooks, second by Mrs. Zipperer for Executive Session: Idaho Code 67-2345, Subsection (b) to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent or public school student: Roll Call Vote: Newby, Brooks, Zipperer each “yes”. Trustees Christie Wood and Sid Fredrickson did not attend.

At 5:05 PM, the meeting returned to open session. No action was taken.
Meeting recessed at 5:06 PM.

The meeting reconvened on June 21, 2007 at 5:46 PM.

Motion by Mrs. Zipperer, second by Mrs. Brooks for Executive Session: Idaho Code 67-2345, Subsection (b) to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent or public school student: Roll Call Vote: Newby, Brooks, Zipperer each “yes”.

At 6:00 PM, the meeting returned to open session. No action was taken.
Meeting recessed at 6:01 PM.

The meeting reconvened on June 27, 2007 at 3:04 PM.

Motion by Mrs. Zipperer, second by Mrs. Brooks for Executive Session: Idaho Code 67-2345, Subsection (b) to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent or public school student: Roll Call Vote: Newby, Brooks, Zipperer each “yes”.

At 3:40 PM, the meeting returned to open session. No action was taken.

The meeting reconvened on August 20, 2007 at 4:08 PM.

Motion by Mrs. Brooks, second by Mrs. Zipperer for Executive Session: Idaho Code 67-2345, Subsection (b) to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent or public school student: Roll Call Vote: Newby, Brooks, Zipperer each “yes”.

At 4:48 PM, the meeting returned to open session. No action was taken.
Meeting recessed at 4:50 PM in order to attend the regularly scheduled Board Meeting.

Motion by Mr. Newby, second by Mrs. Zipperer for Executive Session: Idaho Code 67-2345, Subsection (b) to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent or public school student: Roll Call Vote: Newby, Brooks, Zipperer each “yes”.

At 7:55 PM, the meeting returned to open session.

Motion by Mrs. Brooks to expel Student A for the maximum days allowed. Student will be referred to the IEP Team who will also determine the student’s educational needs. Those services may not be provided on-site at any school within the District, second by Mrs. Zipperer, passed 3-0.
