Board of Trustees Special Meeting
May 22, 2008 1:00 PM Coeur d'Alene School District Admin. Office

Minutes

At 1:10 p.m. Acting Chair Sid Fredrickson called the meeting to order. Trustees Christie Wood and Diane Zipperer were present.

Motion by Mrs. Wood, second by Mrs. Zipperer for Executive Session: Idaho Code 67-2345, Subsection (b) to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent or public school student. Roll Call Vote: Fredrickson, Wood, Zipperer each “yes”.

The meeting returned to open session at 3:05 p.m.

Motion by Mrs. Zipperer to expel Student A for the remainder of the current school year (including summer school) until the beginning of the 2008-09 school year. Admission to Idaho Digital Learning Academy classes will be available, second by Mrs. Wood, passed 3-0.

Motion by Mrs. Zipperer to expel Student B for the remainder of the current school year. Student may attend summer school under a performance & behavior contract. Student may complete current semester unfinished course work at home, second by Mrs. Wood, passed 3-0.

Motion by Mrs. Zipperer to expel Student C for the remainder of the currently school year. Student may enroll for the 2008-09 school year under a performance & behavior contract. Student may complete current semester unfinished course work at home, second by Mrs. Wood, passed 3-0.

Meeting adjourned at 3:10 p.m.

Summary Statement of Executive Session
