Minutes

At 4:05 p.m. the meeting was called to order by Vice-Chair Edie Brooks. Trustees Christie Wood and Sid Fredrickson were also present.

Motion by Mr. Fredrickson, second by Mrs. Wood for Executive Session: Idaho Code 67-2345, Subsection (b) to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent or public school student: Roll call vote: Brooks, Wood, Fredrickson each “yes”. Trustees Newby and Zipperer did not attend.

The meeting returned to open session at 4:40 p.m.

Motion by Mr. Fredrickson to reinstate Student A immediately. Future violations to Board Policies regarding weapons by the student will result in an appearance before the Board of Trustees for an immediate expulsion hearing, second by Mrs. Wood, passed 3-0.

Motion by Mr. Fredrickson, second by Mrs. Wood for Executive Session: Idaho Code 67-2345, Subsection (b) to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent or public school student: Roll call vote: Brooks, Wood, Fredrickson each “yes”. Trustees Newby and Zipperer did not attend.

The meeting returned to open session at 5:10 p.m.

Motion by Mr. Fredrickson to expel Student B for the remainder of the current school year. Student may attend summer school under a performance and behavior contract and upon successful completion of summer school, may enroll and attend high school beginning in the Fall of 2007, second by Mrs. Wood, passed 3-0.
