Special Meeting March 7, 2007

Minutes

At 11:05 a.m., the meeting was called to order by Vice Chair Edie Brooks. Trustees Christie Wood and Diane Zipperer were also present.

Motion by Mrs. Zipperer, second by Mrs. Wood for Executive Session: Idaho Code 67-2345, Subsection (b) to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent or public school student: Roll Call Vote: Brooks, Wood, Zipperer each “yes”. Trustees Newby and Fredrickson did not attend.

The meeting returned to open session at 12:00 p.m.

Motion Mrs. Zipperer to expel Student A for the remainder of the school year. Student may enroll in Idaho Digital Learning Academy (IDLA) to finish 4 credits needed to meet graduation requirements. Student may not attend graduation ceremony however will receive a Coeur d’Alene High School diploma. If additional drug related charges come to the attention of the Board, this may affect the student’s ability to receive a CHS diploma, second by Mrs. Wood, passed 3-0.

Two additional credits will be needed to meet graduation requirements. Student may not attend graduation ceremony however will receive a Coeur d’Alene High School diploma. If additional drug related charges come to the attention of the Board, this may affect the student’s ability to receive a CHS diploma, second by Mrs. Wood, passed 3-0.
