Special Meeting February 26, 2008

Minutes

At 4:03 p.m. Chair Edie Brooks called the meeting to order. Trustees Vern Newby and Diane Zipperer were present.

Motion by Mr. Newby for Executive Session: Idaho Code 67-2345, Subsection (b) to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent or public school student, second by Mrs. Zipperer. Roll Call Vote: Brooks, Newby, Zipperer each “yes”.

The meeting returned to open session at 5:45 p.m.

Motion by Mr. Newby to immediately reinstate Student A under a behavior and performance contract, second by Mrs. Zipperer, passed 3-0.

Motion by Mr. Newby to expel Student B for the remainder of the school year. Student is required to attend summer school or an acceptable alternative program. Upon successful completion of a summer program, student may enroll for high school under a behavior and performance contract in the fall of 2008, second by Mrs. Zipperer, passed 3-0.

Meeting adjourned at 5:50 p.m.

At 4:03 PM, in accordance with Idaho Code 67-2345, Subsection (b) the Board held an Executive Session to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent or public school students.
