Minutes

At 9:45 a.m. Chair Edie Brooks called the meeting to order. Trustees Sid Fredrickson and Diane Zipperer were present.

Motion by Mr. Fredrickson for Executive Session: Idaho Code 67-2345, Subsection (b) to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent or public school student, second by Mrs. Zipperer. Roll Call Vote: Brooks, Fredrickson, Zipperer each “yes”.

The meeting returned to open session at 12:20 p.m.

Motion by Mr. Fredrickson to expel Student A for the remainder of the school year. Student may complete end-of-course-assessments in order to receive first semester credits. Student may enroll in IDLA (Idaho Digital Learning Academy), second by Mrs. Zipperer, passed 3-0.

Motion by Mr. Fredrickson to expect Student B for the remainder of the school year. Student may attend summer school with a behavior, performance and attendance contract, second by Mrs. Zipperer, passed 3-0.

Motion by Mr. Fredrickson to expel Student C for the remainder of the school year. Pending successful completion of summer school (with a performance, behavior and attendance contract), a decision will be made as to placement at high school for the fall of 2008, second by Mrs. Zipperer, passed 3-0.

Motion by Mr. Fredrickson to expel Student D for the remainder of the school year. Pending successful completion of summer school (with a performance, behavior and attendance contract), a decision will be made as to placement at high school for the fall of 2008, second by Mrs. Zipperer, passed 3-0.

Meeting adjourned at 12:25 p.m.
