Special Meeting January 25, 2007

MINUTES

At 4:10 p.m. Chair Vern Newby called the meeting to order. Trustees Edie Brooks and Christie Wood were present.

Motion by, Mrs. Wood second by Mrs. Brooks for Executive Session: Idaho Code 67-2345, Subsection (b) to consider the evaluation, dismissal or disciplining of, or to hear complaints or charges brought against a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent or public school student. Roll Call Vote: Newby, Brooks, Wood each “yes”. Trustees Fredrickson and Zipperer were absent.

The meeting returned to open session at 4:50 p.m.

At the conclusion of the hearing, motion by Mrs. Brooks second by Mrs. Woods, to expel student A for the remainder of the 2006/2007 school year, allow student to enroll in summer school and return to school in the fall, under a behavior contract with the administration to include attendance and passing grades. Student A will also be allowed to enroll in Idaho Digital Learning Academy through Coeur d’Alene High School and be allowed to take the final End of Course Assessments to obtain credits from the first semester of the 2006/2007 school year, voted and passed 3-0.
