PTA Officers Mission Statement

 

Broad-based community, district, and parent involvement have been essential to shaping Fernan Elementary through partnerships, support with special projects, and participation in numerous activities. Parents as partners and supporters in the educational process is a priority for Fernan Elementary. Our Parent Teacher Association has a firm commitment to continually promote and provide assistance to the quality educational programs at our school.

We are looking for volunteers in the following areas:

Health
Room Parent (Year-long)
Cross Country (Fall)
Open House (Sept. 13)
Book Fair (Oct. 29-Nov. 2)
Fundraising Committee
Teacher/Staff Appreciation (ongoing)
Fernando's Ristorante (Feb. 21, 2008)
School Enrichment
After School Activities
Yearbook

We will be providing  a pizza picnic at Open House from 5-6 pm Thursday, September 13th.  Parents may sign up to volunteer and/or join PTA at Open House.
