Kindergarten is an exciting introduction to your
child’s educational journey. Children enter kindergarten with different
strengths and will progress at different rates. Our goal is to help our
students learn as much as possible in a meaningful and enjoyable way.
Kindergarteners are busy learning:
Language Arts: Letters and sounds, reading, letter formation and writing
Math: Calendar concepts, counting, patterns, understanding numbers, coin
identification and value
Units of Study: Social Studies, Science, Health
Technology: Mouse skills, introduction to the keyboard, Waterford Reading
Program
We look forward to spending this year with your child!
