February 21, 2008 - Fernando’s Ristorante

The annual school spaghetti feed is in February.  It will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

This year at Fernando’s, PTA will be hosting a silent auction.  The items to be auctioned off are “Theme Baskets” provided by the classes of Fernan. The idea behind the baskets is that each of the classes, either individually or as a grade level, will pick a theme.  The items to fill the baskets and the “basket” itself are to be donated by the students of the class.  Note that we want new items and not used.  Donated items will be taken to the student’s classroom teacher.  Each class can assemble their own basket or PTA will do it for them.  Check out the bulletin board in the foyer for the list of theme baskets in progress.

There will also be a cakewalk and a teacher bake sale.  Come and bid on your student’s basket and have a fun family evening.

Ticket cost: $3.00/person or $10/family of 4 or more.  A flyer is forthcoming.

 Box Tops for Education

One of our year-long fundraisers is collection Box Tops for Education.  We receive 10 cents per box top! Please send box tops in to school with your child, who can deposit them in the container in the lobby or hand them in to their teacher.
