Pamela Kiefer This is the second year the Advanced Learning Program in the Coeur d’Alene School District has implemented expanded services. thanks to the voters of our district, who passed a spring 2005 levy, we are funded for ten elementary Advanced Learning Instructors, one in each building, through May 2007. I am the instructor for second and third grade students in Math and fourth and fifth grade students in Reading and Math. Each class meets with me four days a week for either sixty or forty-five minutes. I also consult with first grade teachers once a week. The goal of the Advanced Learning Program is to provide strategic educational experiences for advanced learners to promote academic growth.
