Let's Read

What is Title I?
Title I is a federallly funded program that provides reading enrichment for students that are performing near or below grade level.  Our goal is to help your child become a successful reader by providing lessons to reinforce reading strategies.  Title services may include:
Inclusion:  Students receive assistance in the regular classroom.
Pull Out:  Students work in small groups in the Title I program classroom.
One on One:  Students may be pulled from the regular and/or Title I classroom for intense individual instruction with the Title teacher or a high qualified para-professional.

Students are expected to complete all assigned work and practice reading at home each day.  Parental help is necessary to assist your child to reach reading proficiency.  Parents are encouraged to attend conferences and assist at home to develop good reading habits.  Contact your child's teacher  for questions on their progress.
