Certified Positions

In-District Applicants:  Any current employee in a certified position wanting to apply for a certified poistion need only to submit a letter of interest and current resume by the closing date listed below. 

Applicants with an elementary certification who will be seeking teaching positions in grades K-8 are required to attend a prescreening interview.  This year we will be conducting prescreening interviews on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 from 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Please contact Sara Pickens at 208-664-8241, ext 250, or spickens@cdaschools.org  to schedule an appointment.  All elementary education applicants must have completed a prescreening interview and have a complete certified application on file by the time the position that they are interested in closes.  If you missed the prescreening interviews on March 17, please contact us after you have submitted a complete application to get on a waiting list .

Without exception, all application materials must be received by Human Resources by 1:00 p.m. on the closing date of the position.

You must possess or be eligible for an Idaho Education Credential, or hold a comparable out-of-state certification which can be endorsed in Idaho, in the required subject.  For information on certification in Idaho, please visit the Idaho State Dept of Education's website.   You may also contact them directly by calling 1-800-432-4601 and asking for the teacher cerfitication department.  They can provide you with a listing of State's with which Idaho has reciprocity and thereby will recognize an out-of-state certificate for a period time.   They can also provide you with the requirements for picking up additional endorsements to your current Idaho Certificate.
