Roadside Attraction Flyer
Task | Internet Links

Information:
Roadside attractions can be found virtually anywhere in the United States. Towns, cities, and surrounding areas may claim to have the the world's largest "whatever makes them unique." If you ever travel to Hayward, Wisconsin, visit the world's largest Muskie. A favorite of mine from college years is the claim to the world's largest Mallard duck located in Wheaton, Minnesota. I drove by that Mallard every weekend that I came home from college. Picture is from The Wall Street Journal, Monday, September 16, 1996.  Right next door in Kellogg the gondola at Silver Mountain claims to be the longest single stage people carrier in the world. If you haven't walked on the world's longest floating boardwalk, head downtown Coeur d'Alene to the Resort. It is right there on our very own Lake Coeur d'Alene.
