Draw tools that you will use:

Rotate or Flip
Order
Group

If the Draw toolbar is not showing, click View (on the Menu bar). Then click Toolbars. Click Drawing.

1. Use Rotate or Flip tool to get Lightening Boy’s body, arms and legs oriented in the proper direction.

2. Click and drag to move LB’s body parts into the position indicated in the picture above.

3. Use Order tool to arrange the layer of LB’s body parts. His legs and arms are behind his body and his head is in front of his body.

4. Once you have LB put together, group all of his parts using Group tool.

5. Now, center LB in the middle of the slide.

Use the Format AutoShape tool to recolor each body part. Pick a two-color theme such as yellow and orange or red and yellow or other two colors of you choice. Using the two-color scheme you selected, apply a different Shading style to LB’s body, legs, arms, and head. When you finished re-coloring LB, you should have applied four different Shading styles.

Format the background. Be clever and creative. Use Fill Effects.

There are many ways to accomplish the task.
Here is one suggestion:

1. Click once on LB to select it.

2. Next, click once on the body part that you intend to recolor.

3. With your mouse over the selected body part, right click the mouse. Then, click Format AutoShape.

4. Click the drop-down arrow in the Color box. 5. Click Fill Effects

5. Click Two colors and select two-color scheme.

6. Select a Shading styles to apply. 8. Click OK and click OK again.

7. Repeat these steps for each part of LB.

Animate LB to Grow Bigger, Spin, Flash, and Shrink Smaller.

Apply appropriate sound to animation. All animation should be timed so that it occurs after the previous.

To display the Custom Animation task pane, click Slide Show on the Menu bar. Then, click Custom Animation.
The task pane will appear on the right side of your screen.

There are many ways to accomplish the task.
Here is one suggestion:

1. Click LB to select him.

2. Click the drop-down arrow beside Add Effect.

3. Click Emphasis

4. Click Grow/Shrink

5. Click the drop-down arrow in Start, select With Previous.

6. Adjust the Size and Speed.

7. Continue with selecting Emphasis to applying Flash, Spin and Shrink Smaller. Always apply With Previous. This will make the entire animation occur without a mouse click. 8. Add appropriate sound to the animation.
