Mrs. Conley's Advanced 7th Grade Language Arts

Where language meets the web!

The purpose of writing is not to write to be understood, but to write so well that one is not misunderstood.

Welcome to the 7th Grade Advanced Language Arts website. Please check this page often as information is updated weekly. Parents and students are able to check due dates of assignments and access all teacher generated handouts.

Gaggle
 Your log-in is always 14firstinitiallast name@cda.gaggle.net. Don't forget the @cda.gaggle.net.
Remember this is a "professional" site. Anything you do can be viewed by Mrs. Conley. Use Standard English in all your emails and other work. To connect to Gaggle, click on the blue "Gaggle" link.

How to Use Your "Gaggle" Digital Locker

1.  To access the Digital Locker, click the "Digital Locker" link from the "Jump To" menu.
2.  Click on "Add a file".
3.  Click the "Browse" button which will bring up a window for locating the desired file and choose the file.
4.  Click the "Upload File" button to complete the upload of the file.
5.  When you get home (or back to school), double click on the needed file and it will open.
6.  You MUST save this file on your home computer (remember where you save it).
7.  When you've made the changes/additions, UPLOAD from home following steps 1-4.

IMPORTANT: You must open the file and save it on your home computer. When you're back at school, you MUST open the document and re-save it on your "P" drive. Adding an extension to your file name (Brush Strokes_1, Brush Strokes_2) will help ensure that you don't over-ride a needed document. Delete unneeded documents from both your "P" drive and your "Digital Locker".
