| The first project of the new 2008-2009 school
year is the "Getting to Know You" PowerPoint presentation. Each student will
prepare a PowerPoint according the directions given in class and following
the guidelines on
the scoring rubric. As this is the first project of the year, it is imperative that students learn the importance of using the brainstorming sheet, checklist, and grading rubric. Every project the students complete this year will have these three documents—every step is laid out so that students will create a quality project. |

Presentations must be completed by Friday, 9/18. Class presentations will begin on Monday, 9/22. Be sure to check the "Assignments" section on the Advanced LA Home Page for due dates. |
