Interview eldest relative.
Transcribe tape or rewrite notes if needed.
Show proof of interview to teacher. DUE Jan 6
Complete visual graphic organizer for the compare/contrast essay. DUE Jan 7
Complete outline for the essay. DUE Jan 9
Write rough draft of Compare/Contrast Essay on your adolescence and interviewee's adolescence. DUE Jan 13
Have multiple people edit your rough draft, writing as many revisions as needed to have a well-written, focused essay.
Write final draft of C/C Essay. DUE Jan 16
Write speech. Rough draft DUE Jan 29
Write note cards for speech/presentation.
Make or gather two visual aids for presentation. (Work on these at home unless done with written speech.)
Give 3-5 minute timed presentation with visual aids. DUE Feb 2
