The Bridge Academy has four teachers and two teacher assistants.

Susan Thomas

Susan
Thomas is originally from Wisconsin. She graduated from Gonzaga
University in May of 1995, and began her teaching career with the
Coeur d’Alene School District in September of the same year.
She taught 8 years at the Juvenile Detention Center and is currently
in her 4th year at The Bridge Academy.
Susan is endorsed in English, History, Social Studies and
Humanities. She loves being a teacher and spending her free time
with her husband, children and grandchildren. |

Jill
McDaniel

Jill McDaniel is an Idaho
native. She graduated from Kootenai High School, North Idaho
College, and received her degree in education from the University of
Idaho in 1991. She is in her third year of teaching at The Bridge
Academy. Jill is endorsed in English, History, and Social Studies.
Besides being a mom, nothing brings her more fulfillment than being
a teacher. |

Lisa
Lewis

Lisa Lewis has been with
The Bridge Academy for three years now. She is originally
from Colorado but has also lived in New Jersey, Denmark, Arizona,
and California. She received her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology
from the University of Colorado, a long time ago. Since then she has
continued her education at various school and stages from California
State University, Long Beach, Golden West College, North Idaho
College and is finishing her master’s degree with the University of
Idaho. Her endorsements are in Social Studies, Humanities, Biology,
Natural Science and Math. |

Charles
Kenna

Charles Kenna was born in San
Diego, California. He became a teacher in 1991 after marrying his
high school sweetheart, who now teaches Kindergarten in Washington.
Together they have two children. Charles moved to Idaho in 1994 and
has taught at Project CDA, Lake City High School and now the Bridge
Academy. Charles has a BA in History from San Diego State University
and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the
University of Idaho. When he isn’t teaching history, he lives it in
a medieval recreation society.

Jennifer Lindemulder

Jennifer is The
Bridge Academy's building secretary. She started at The Bridge
Academy in the fall of 2005. She works with students on classes as
well as helps out with secretarial duties. We are so happy to
have her! She came to Coeur d'Alene with eight years experience
working in California's school districts. She has two
children.

Mike Baum

Mike decided he
hadn't had enough of teenagers after teaching for 30 years, so he is
spending his retirement being an awesome teacher assistant at The
Bridge Academy. Mike works part time in the evening shift.
He is married with two adult children.
