| A student who attends must be able to work on
their own, at a computer, for three hours a day. Most students who
attend are very motivated to get their credits finished and graduate.
Students need to have skills to read and comprehend high school subject
matter.
Most students finish a class in approximately one month.
Student can work much faster if they attend Friday sessions.
Students create goals with the staff to determine the amount of
time expected before they will graduate. All core classes are
done on the Nova Net curriculum. Electives are done through
work and packets. All students must complete two
electives every semester. This is true for students even if
they have completed all of their required electives.
Students are expected to attend three hours per
day, Monday through Thursday at their scheduled time and are
encouraged to attend the Friday morning make up session from
8:00 -11:00. Fridays may be used to bank hours for an expected
absence or upcoming family vacation. We have four teachers and two teacher assistants to
provide help. There are 32 computer terminals.
Each student is required to obtain employment
as part of their school day.
